Bangor Savings Bank to Host First Community Casting Call for the Feature Film “Blue Potato”

We are proud to announce Bangor Savings Bank’s support for our second feature film. We will kick off our first casting call for “Blue Potato” in Bangor at Husson University at the Gracie Theater on June 23rd from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Additional casting calls throughout Maine will be announced shortly.

Community members wishing to come out for the casting call should come early and plan on bringing a photo that can be provided to the casting team.

“Blue Potato” is a coming of age drama set during the fall potato harvest in a small northern Maine town near the Canadian border.

It will be the first national feature film set in Aroostook County and will be filmed in Van Buren, Maine and surrounding areas during the summer and fall of this year.

I am retired and have been in two other movie shoots as a background extra. Living in Madison, Maine, I’m wondering what other locations have been chosen other than Van Buren??
